Okay, I start talking and can't shut up.

I got a camal bac a while back and love it. I have found all kinds of attachments for my phone, ipod, raisins, crackers, sunglasses. I have been afraid of actually weighing it before heading out, but I bet it is easily five pounds of extra weight (and I don't need no extra believe me)but I stress out thinking of wanting something and not having it with me. My running buddies keep waiting to see me pulling a little red wagon behind me as I run. I just laugh and tell them if they keep it up I am not sharing my glide, bandaides, sunblock, bug stuff, etc... when we are out in the middle of no where and they are miserable and I am comfortable.

My point? How heavy is your pac?

Patty - This is the Camelbak Flashflo and it is right about a pound or slightly under before liquid. It holds about 1.3L and has some nice straps that you tighten down as you drink to keep the bladder tight and keep it from sloshing. It has some room for gels, keys, phone, etc. I haven't weighed it fully loaded... I don't typically take a whole lot extra, but then again, my longest run has been 6.5 !!
